The Free N Deed Market is the ABBA Center’s flagship food access program, created to ensure that every individual and family can receive nutritious groceries in an environment that honors dignity, choice, and respect. Unlike traditional food pantries, the Free N Deed Market is intentionally designed to look and feel like a neighborhood grocery store. Shelves are neatly organized, aisles are easy to navigate, and every visitor has the freedom to shop for the foods that best fit their needs.
We recognize that no two households are the same. Families come to us with different dietary restrictions, cultural food preferences, health concerns, and personal circumstances. The Free N Deed Market allows clients to select items they will truly use—fresh produce, dairy, proteins, pantry staples, and household necessities—rather than receiving prepacked boxes that may not align with their needs. By choosing their own groceries, clients avoid food waste and maintain a sense of autonomy during moments of hardship.

Everything in the market is offered 100% free of charge, ensuring that financial barriers never prevent someone from feeding themselves or their family. Our welcoming volunteers create a warm, respectful atmosphere where every visitor is treated as a valued customer, not a number or a case.
In addition to providing food, the Free N Deed Market also serves as a place of connection. Staff members and volunteers are available to guide clients through the market, share nutritional information, answer questions, and direct families to additional support services offered through the ABBA Center and our community partners
